Engagement Sessions

Engagement sessions are a great way for newly engaged couples to share the big news with their families and friends. It also gives us an opportunity to get to know each other before your big day arrives. Think of your engagement session as a fun day with your other half and the end result being beautiful images that you can treasure forever.

I like to make these sessions laid-back, fun, and easy-going while allowing you to get comfortable with the camera. Engagement sessions typically last 1.5 to 3 hours and can take place in one or multiple locations. I recommend 2-3 outfit changes for me to really capture your personality and love story. Also, I always recommend professional stylists for make-up and hair as it enhances the beauty in every photo.

Posing for pictures can be difficult and very awkward at times but you have nothing to worry about. You won't even need to think about which way to look or where to place your hands as I will guide you throughout your session. By the it's over, you will be a natural in front of the camera and this will help make photos to your wedding day effortless. The most important thing to remember for your engagement sessions is to have fun and enjoy the moment!

What to Wear & What to Bring

Like the location, your outfits should also be a reflection of you. Generally, I think it's a good idea to gather a few looks. Gathering a formal and casual look tends to be just perfect. It allows to look your best while being able to incorporate looks that suit the atmosphere.

I'm flexible with whatever you'd like to wear. This is your session and I recommend no more than three outfits to maximize our time together. If you want to bring more it's totally fine, but it may have an impact on the amount of time we'll have shooting together!
