Photography Mentorship

I remember when I first got started with photography I had no idea where to start or how to turn my passion into profits. Between college and just figuring out what to do with my camera (pre-youtube), it was really touch and go. During this time I was offered a meeting with another photographer who had been in business for about ten years. I was so excited to learn! Looking forward to advice, and tips I naively accepted an unpaid internship and ended up losing my spark. 

Although I was offered a position and stayed on with the company for 8 years, I felt stuck and was extremely unhappy. I witnessed practices in the office that was not great for company moral and as times I changed my new ideas to keep up were constantly being shot down. I vowed to myself that I would not incorporate certain practices that I didn’t agree with into my own business. Finally taking the leap to start my own company, struggling, building my brand from the ground up alone; I feel honored (and obligated) to share my highs and lows with you. To teach, guide, and motivate you as an entrepreneur on your own journey and share the things I’ve learned along the way to help you reach your goals as an aspiring or beginner photographer.
